A Vector-valued Random Ergodic Theorem
2. Theorem. Let £ be a reflexive B-space and let (S, 2, m) be a a-finite measure space. Let there be defined on S a strongly measurable function Ts with values in the B-space B(H) of bounded linear operators on H. Suppose that || 7\|| ^=1 for all sES. Let h be a measure-preserving transformation (m.p.t.) in (S, 2, m). Then for each XELi(S, £) there is an XELi(S, X) such that limn<„ «_1E"=i T*Th...
متن کاملThe Central Limit Theorem problem for t-normed sums of random upper semicontinuous functions
We will present the problem of the Central Limit Theorem for random upper semicontinuous functions. Let us begin by providing the context for that problem. We need to present the space in which we will work, and specify the notions of random element of that space, convergence and the operations used to average random elements. Then we will make some historical remarks on limit theorems in this ...
متن کاملA Topological Minimax Theorem
We present a topological minimax theorem (Theorem 2.2). The topological assumptions on the spaces involved are somewhat weaker than those usually found in the literature. Even when reinterpreted in the convex setting of topological vector spaces, our theorem yields nonnegligible improvements, for example, of the Passy–Prisman theorem and consequently of the Sion theorem, contrary to most result...
متن کاملChevalley Restriction Theorem for Vector-valued Functions on Quantum Groups
We generalize Chevalley’s theorem about restriction Res : C[g]g → C[h]W to the case when a semisimple Lie algebra g is replaced by a quantum group and the target space C of the polynomial maps is replaced by a finite dimensional representation V of this quantum group. We prove that the restriction map Res : (Oq(G) ⊗ V )Uq(g) → O(H) ⊗ V is injective and describe the image.
متن کاملA decomposition theorem for fuzzy set-valued random variables
In this paper, a decomposition theorem for a (square integrable) fuzzy random variable FRV is proposed. The paper is mainly divided in two parts. In the first part, for any FRV X, we define the Hukuhara set as the family of (deterministic) fuzzy sets C for which the Hukuhara difference X ⊖H C exists almost surely; in particular, we prove that such a family is a closed (with respect to different...
